Subject: who is pure from sin |
Bible Note: I'm on a forum w/many gays who claim to be Christians. I guess that's a matter between them and God? But there are some that say things like David and Jonathan were lovers and shoot down all the verses that condemn homosexuality, in other words they just pervert the Gospel. But then there are some that really sound sincere, just maybe misguided, actually believe it's natural and are monogamous. So I got to wondering about them, which led to thinking about me too. I know when I first got saved, I had so many things wrong w/me that it took a long time to be delivered from them. I didn't quite understand repentance either. So I've always wondered, did I get saved then or later, it always bugs me. I know even while I was still doing things that were considered sin like pot smoking, which I didn't see was all that wrong, just illegal, or drinking, was I saved or not and why is their sin worse than mine? I decided I won't say anybody's not saved but the ones that are in your face and into serious scripture perverting, those I seriously doubt. How much time can you spend defending your sin and still be a Christian? I confess I'm powerless over eating, esp. sweets but I've still not got delivered. Pray for me! |
