AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. |
Bible Question: Why would a loving God create a hell? |
Bible Answer: It is my belief and the belief of several people I know that Hell was created for Satan and his Angels. Why else would Hell enlarge it's mouth?Isaiah 5 14(a)Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure:... Hell originally was not meant for people. When sin came into the world is when people could actually go to hell. Death didn't enter into man until they ate the fruit. Genesis 2 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Man was originally created to live forever. The bible says that 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. That tells me that he doesn't want us to go to a "devil's Hell". Hope this helps a little |
