AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Peter 2:5 and if He did not spare the ancient world, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought [the judgment of] a flood upon the world of the ungodly; [Gen 6-8; 1 Pet 3:20] |
Bible Question: Where does it say that Noah asked the people around him to come with him on the ark? |
Bible Answer: The verse above refers to Noah as a "preacher of righteousness." That is the only indication in Scripture that gives a sense that he said anything to those around him about the coming flood. Of course, it is only reasonable to think that a man building an ark far away from sea would bring some serious scoffing! --Joe! |
