Bible Note: Jesus proved again and again that He had the power on earth to forgive sins. There are many examples in the Gospels but he also taught about baptism(Mark 16:15-16). He also prophecied that when he left and the Spirit came, repentance and the forgiveness of sins would be preached. Read Acts 1-4 (all 4 chapters), and Romans 6:1-11 Baptism is where we,By faith in God's power, meet the blood of Jesus and have our sins forgiven. |
