Bible Question: is baptism necessary for salvation? |
Bible Answer: We are receiving all kinds of answers here on this forum on this subject. I believe a good way to solve this problem is to put everything we know and have heard about baptism out of our heads and start right from the book of Matthew and read and look for this word throughout the whole New Testament. And by doing this, we will find what baptism is and what it is for. We can argue until we're blue in the face but unless we know what baptism is, we will all be lost. But in order to do a good job on this, we have to put our own preconceived ideas and opinions aside and just make the study. You will be surprised what can come of this kind of study. Anyway, try it, and God bless. |
