Bible Note: Hi Ray, With out trying to second guess what the Lord wanted in this situation, he might be leaving the use of the case up to the work of the Holy Spirit; that’s why the Koine Greek didn’t show either case and neither did they use diacritical marks, which is the sign of a weak language as well. Believers, by the teaching of the Holy Spirit, automatically know what and who the word lithos, in the original Greek, was in reference to. As a result the use of either case doesn’t matter, as it also didn’t in the Greek, and I am not going to get all bent out of shape over it. That’s what I think and if you don’t agree that fine too, it’s OK. I’m more concerned about the poor lost souls that don’t have anything of the written Word of God in their possession, be it a good or bad translation, many have nothing!!!!! Have a great day, CDBJ |
