NASB | 1 Peter 2:24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Peter 2:24 He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been healed. |
Subject: How can God let us go through pain? |
Bible Note: We can not blame God for the suffering of people. As a matter of fact he promises, in Revelation 21:4 that when he returns to care for the righteous people, there will be no more suffering. It is inhumane beings that are responsible for all the suffering going on in the world. God left righteous people on earth to take care of the world. God had place a lid on evil, when he went to heaven. But someone took it off, and this are the consequences. But if you believe in God you will endure anything. |
