Bible Question: Thanks Searcher you are a great help I am a new Bible study student, I remember about the cloud and pillar of fire in our study about the crossing of the red sea.. I dont understand the section in Joshua 3:7-17 and how God was with them in this section , thanks |
Bible Answer: Hi InGodsWill, Joshua 3:5, "Then Joshua said to the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the (Lord) will do wonders among you." Joshua 3:11, "Behold, the ark of the covenant of the (Lord) of all the earth is crossing over ahead of you into the Jordan." Joshua 4:23, "For the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed, just as the Lord your (God) had done to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed." God was with Joshua just as He had been with Moses. They had similar crossings. Exodus 15:1-18, "The (Lord) shall reign forever and ever." Here is a song of praise to our triune God.
