Bible Question:
Prayer Chains. I have a 9 year old that has just been diagnosed with a heart condition. I trust the Lord with all my heart and I'm not anxious. Psalm 121. But, I have always asked for prayers for others and I find myself wanting to protect my little one i.e. from well intentions but sometimes tactless remarks and have not added her to our churches prayer chain. I storm the gates of heaven praying for my little girl...am I missing biblical doctrine regarding prayer chain? God Bless! and P.S. Thanks for protecting this website from attacks. |
Bible Answer: We are told to "pray for one another." Don't deny believers in your fellowship this God given privilege because of a few tactless remarks. God is bigger than their ignorance! You wrote: "I find myself wanting to protect my little one." WHO is the only ONE who is ABLE to protect her??? Don't be guilty of the same "ignorance" by not seeking the intercession of others for your little girl! I'll lift her (and you) up before the Throne of Grace too! May God comfort you with the peace of His presence. Blessings, Mommapbs PS. Now go and make that call! I suspect that you will be surprised at how God "shows up" in your circumstances - don't limit Him, but be looking for Him! |
