Bible Question (short): Abraham and Abimelech |
Question (full): Shalom y'all, I have a question, it's a "why" that pretty much calls for speculation but I would like to hear other's thoughts. In Gen. 20:7 God is telling Abimelech that Abraham will pray for him and his house to be healed. Why didn't God just go ahead and do this Himself at that time? Was he wanting somehow to exalt Abraham in the eyes of this king? Thanks to all Cheri |
