Bible Question: how we ofend others with our mouths |
Bible Answer: Greetings! As one who has misused words all too frequently, I offer this in response. The mouth is like a water pitcher. Out of it can come healing or wounding words. And just as a bit in the horse's mouth affects the whole horse, so do our words affect another. The words we utter also reflect the heart that conceives them! We all have a choice when we speak - but even unspoken words can still hurt.(Check out Proverbs 25:11!) "When you look at the scars left by the past, what do you remember - the wounding or the healing?" (pbs 8/00) Blessings, Mommapbs |
