Bible Question (short): Where do we go with burdens? |
Question (full): Why is it that we seem to seek out others advice on problems and seek their advice or solutions, from the Forum first? Are we not to seek out Wisdom from our "Owners Manual" the Bible, and pray to our Father in Heaven for wisdom and direction, first before seeking the advice of others? When a thread takes nine hours to suggest some answers for a problem that a burdened person has, is this how we as Christians are to resolve our problems and issues? Should we not direct our burdens to Jesus our Lord, and expect Him to direct and give us wisdom? I am not saying the Forum can not help but should we not direct burdened people to the Lord who has every answer? Psalm 139:3 " You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways." NASB updated. Who is wiser, more knowledgeable, and loving than God Almighty? Does not God have the answer to everything? Maybe we need to say I am willing to prayer partner with this for you? Is it perhaps, easier to come up with a quick fix instant answer, I really wonder, do you? justme |
