Bible Question (short): AMm I UnTeachable? |
Question (full): I have been told I have an unteachable spirit by someone I believe is close to the Lord. I do not agree with this but I have spent an entire week searching myself about this. What is meant by "You are unteachable and need to have a deliverance" ? Hearing this brought me to tears as I was listening in the service taking notes, and taking down the Bible verses down that were read. I do not understand and I do not believe there is a clear understanding from where I am coming from when I say I take no man's or woman's word from God until I verify it by the Word of God. By the way I never said this aloud to anyone. Are we not to take what we are taught to the Word of God? I know I have problems trusting anyone outside those I know very well but I never ever reject a word from God until I bring it in prayer and verify the teaching from the Word because of something that occurred many years ago and I as well as others were severely injured. Please help? God is not the author of confusion!! |
