Bible Question: once saved are we always saved? |
Bible Answer: REV 5 4 And I began to weep greatly, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look into it; 5 and one of the elders said to me, "Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals." John 10 27 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. 29 "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. 30 "I and the Father are one." Jesus is not only the lamb of God, but also the Lion of the tribe of Judah. If you can lose your Salvation then is the life he gives really eternal? And what does never perish mean if one can perish after salvation? If saved you are in the dtrong grip of the lion of the tribe of Judah and no on is able to snath you from that grip. |
