AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 12:26 His voice shook the earth [at Mount Sinai] then, but now He has given a promise, saying, "YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE [starry] HEAVEN." [Hag 2:6] |
Bible Question:
Any ideas as to the meaning of this? Why and when is heaven being shaken? Thank you. |
Bible Answer: My personal interpretation of these verses is that the heavenly shaking may involve the unsettling of the higher archonic entities which fill the heavens. The notion involves the idea that even the most perfect of the angels in God's sight are filled with sinful blemish, and therefore must undergo a shaking. I'm afraid that I can't provide scripture to back this up at this time however, as my views are somewhat in the formative and theoretical stage on the issue. |
