Bible Question: I have never really been able to answer the question,"Why should I believe that Jesus actually live, or that he was more than a good man who taught with wisdom?" How can I answer this question? |
Bible Answer: Hello Christinme, I would offer that the best place to start is to know your bible. There is also ample historical evidence to support that Jesus actually lived- a fact attested to by many extra-biblical writers. An excellent resource would be "Evidence That Demands a Verdict", by Josh McDowell. Regardless, faith still plays an important part in believing this. As Heb. 11:6 states, "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."
