Bible Question: Are the followers of God who died before the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in heaven? |
Bible Answer: Hello anne marie H, Allow me to repost #226263 in answer: "The 11th chapter of Hebrews provides the answer to what happened to the people who believed in God?: Heb 11:13 "All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth." (NASB) cf. 11:39-40 What qualified them to go?: Their faith! Heb. 11:1-2 tells us, "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval." Where are they now? They are in living in the fellowship and presence of God." I hope this helps, |
