Bible Question: I'm finding it difficult to make it to Wednesday night Bible study. I study the Bible every day though, usually later in the evenings after the children are put to bed, but I understand I'm missing out on the fellowship that takes place on Wednesday nights at church. I have two questions. Why do churches meet on Wednesday nights? Is it okay to skip Wednesday nights at church? |
Bible Answer: Wednesday Bible study is a blessing. It is not meant to cause quilt upon the young families. This is one place the older members of the Church body can help out by ministering to the kids and allowing a chance for young parents to be in the Bible study and be strengthened. It is amazing how much my girls (now my grandchildren) enjoyed their Wednesday night classes. Strive to get your children involved in their own classes. There may be times when they will be dragging you! |
