Bible Question: Is doing this legalism? If doing this impairs my ability to do my job well at work the next day, and/or, if it impairs my ablity as a gramma to keep up my relationship with grandkids, and/or my own housework and physical therapies(knees and back)and personal quit time with my lord, How can I do it all without getting sick? what could be elimnated? I need to incorporate all these areas, I believe. But it seems 'church' [assembling] even just sunday morning gets left out of my life alot not altogether but alot more than ever before. I pray for Israel. What's the prority? Church, work, kids, my body, my personal worship/bible study time......... I can't wait for the end of time as we know it. Thanks. suziebiddle |
Bible Answer: suziebiddle- Man, I can relate! Only, eliminate the therapy and put in a 40 hour plus week and I know where you are. It is hard to try to wear so many hats. But I have found, if you do not have the time to spend with God, everything else gets harder to do and you seem to have less time for all of them. The main thing is to prioritize. God has to come first. Would it be possible to take the kids with you to church? I also have my grandson (3 years old) living with me, so I know the housework definitly falls behind. And do you know what? No one worth worrying about has complained. Seems like you need a great amount of peace, my friend, and who is the Giver of peace? Set aside even 15 minutes in the morning before anyone is up (the only time I can give it) to read a little and spend time with the Peacegiver. It will pay off in all other areas of your life. Debbie P.S. I can't wait for the end of time just to focus uninterruptedly on one thing also! God bless. |
