Bible Question (short): Self-control..Spirit or Self? |
Question (full): Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I'm doing a study of self-control. My question is because the Greek word "sophron" is used in this verse and the word "Egkrateia" is used in Galatians 5:23. Is "sophron" an act that we work out within ourselves, therefore leaving "egkraeia" something that we recieve from the Holy Spirit? Please use Scripture to answer this question. Thanks Saints. |
