Bible Question: What was the apostles doctrine? |
Bible Answer: The Old Testament! Christ did not come to throw away the old testament, but to fulfill it! BUT as far as teaching go, the apostles learned first hand from Christ the Way, and so they taught from what they knew... They didnt' need a Letter to the Church of Corinth to minister to others. AND if you want to look at it this way, all new testament scriptures either interpretations of, or fulfillments of Old Testament Scripture. God's will for man's life did not change after the crucifiction of Christ. He still called for obedient hearts, and all of that is found in the Old Testament... "I desire mercy, not sacrifice" I hope this helps! God Bless Jocosity |
