Bible Question: Is there ever a time we have too much knowledge? |
Bible Answer: As can be seen in the verse, the_object_of knowledge_is_the truth. There can be no real knowledge without truth. So what is talked about here is fruitless learning, that is, what they are learning is not the truth. Such as the "truths" of science. We live in a culture of the anti-intellectual where the "heart" is more important than the "head." This is not the attitude of Scripture. Although the more we know, the more we carry the burden of responsiblity, the pursuit of knowledge should not be shunned. Do a word search on the word "knowledge" and you'll see how important it is to God, for God is a God of knowledge. (1 Sam 2:3) 2 Pet 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. |
