AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God's will, both publicly and privately--behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; |
Bible Question:
What do you consider to be the top three most important doctrines that the Bible teaches and why. I think that most all “true Christians” would agree that number one on the list would be the doctrine of salvation in Christ Jesus; how about number two and three and why? CDBJ |
Bible Answer: CDBJ: I really can not say which is first and second and so forth. The Virgin birth, the signs of healing, and forgiveness of sin, the blood Jesus shed for our sins, Jesus dying on the cross, the resurrection of Jesus from the dead and Jesus walking and talking after he rose from the grave, and Jesus returning to the Holy Father. I see these as the core of Doctrine making a complete whole, we call salvation. None of the above mentioned can stand alone and call that single event of salvation. All of the events mentioned make salvation for us to surrender to Christ or reject the complete Salvation jesus offers to "who so ever will". I hope I did not mess up your question. That is how I see it anyway. Blessings. justme |
