Bible Question (short): Strict Observance of Bible Versions? |
Question (full): I usually use the NIV version of the bible since it is easier to use. On some occassions I will look at the King James version to compare a passage. I have found some MAJOR word changes in some of the passages. My husband (Mormon) says that if I my church uses a particular version (mine uses the NIV) that I am to only use that version and if I disagree with it, that it proves that the Mormons are right when they say that they believe in the bible "as long as it is tranlated correctly". How can I answer him. I get tongue tied or just keep silent in order to avoid an argument. |
