Bible Question:
What in your estimation consititutes ingnorant and foolish speculations? Does this only apply to ideas that don't have any basis in scriptures, or is it more than that? blessings abound, bowler |
Bible Answer: Greetings, The scientific process of developing a hypothesis, testing said hypothesis, then readjusting the hypothesis based upon the findings can apply to studying the Bible. It is one thing to speculate on the Bible's meaning, but just don't leave it at speculation. Study the Bible from all it's aspects to test your speculation. Then alter your speculation to fit your findings in scripture. Then you repeat the process until your initial speculation now fits with the words of scripture. You never change scripture. You change your beliefs to fit within the context of scripture. You do this by careful study. quvmoh |
