Bible Question: HI, ,,,,,SOME PROFESSORS OPENLY DENY SECOND COMING CHRIST.HOW DID THEY ARRIVE AT THIS CONCLUSION..... |
Bible Answer: How do they come to this conclusion? Not sure, but I think it is because the have allowed their perception of education to make them fools. As scripture says a fool says there is no God. There is a strong move toward the concept that religion is for the slow of mind, that an enlightened individuals understands the concept of religion was conceived in an attempt to establish a social order and moral structure for the less knowing. Most are atheist or at the very lest agnostic, so the denial of the second coming of Christ is a non issue with them. There is a very strong move in Education in America to remove God from our society. This starts in grade schools and progresses though out the education process. We should not be surprised of the results. The look at the cost of colleges and seminaries they have to do something to keep the classrooms full so they market Ministry as a great career that offers many benefits that appeal to young students. These students upon graduation find Ministry perhaps a little different than they expected eventually find themselves for one reason or another moving into education themselves. So the cycle continues. I had one professor tell me that while he was talking of Abraham and the great Patriarchs of the faith, at the beginning of the first semester class, noticed one student with tears in her eyes. After class when asked about it was told she had no idea who those people were and being totally lost began to cry. He then surveyed the class and found only a small handful of the students viewed themselves as true believers. This was a well known and respected Bible college where you would expect only Christians to attend yet in truth a huge majority were not believers and were only looking to meet the requirements of future job offerings. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (NKJV) 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, Look at the great Colleges all started as Bible Schools, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and etc. Almost all colleges at headed by people that aspire to be like these schools. |
