How did God show faithfulness to him in his weakness? 5. What if Abraham had simply quit or chosen to rebel and continue in his fear? 6. What does this tell you about what God expects of us? His patience with us? His loving and gracious nature? 7. Abraham's descendants were chosen by Yahweh to be a "light to the nations" (Isaiah 49:6a).
