Bible Note: Also adding upon this, even if Timothy was speaking in general of providing for you family. Matthew clearly states in 6 matthew 31:33 31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. I beleive he is saying be grateful for what you have and of course provide what you can for your family, but in the quality of that it cannot be measured because the Lord Provides for his subjects. Jesus also states that “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. |
