Bible Question:
In my quest to be an obedient follower of the Most High; His principles in this case. What are the examples of "good ground" when considering to which ministry I should give an offering to. Also, does this apply to paying your tithes, even to the church that you are a member of? |
Bible Answer: Hi, Cantool... welcome to the forum! In my very humble opinion, tithes ought to be given for the support of the church that is ministering to you. Tithes should be given as a part of your corporate worship. Offerings are given over and above your tithe. I'd suggest that you take reasonable precautions in your offerings. It is good stewardship to determine that a ministry will use your offerings well and appropriately. There are organizations to which ministries are members requiring regular audits. In Him, Doc |
