Subject: A divorced pastor in ministry? |
Bible Note: Kalos I'm not trying to be rude here but read on what does MacArthur say further on in this dicussion? That while he (MacArthur) does not see verse 2 excluding a divorced man the other verse may. Also go back to the priest hood. One major thing that exempted a Levite from serving as a priest was divorce. I know we are not under the law but why do you think God made that stipulation? His sin could be atoned for by a blood offering so it wasn't sin. What could it be? Whatever it is God must have a reason. Then the question is, is that still valid today? I say yes I think it is. Again I'm talking a Christian that was married and divorce after salvation. I think for people that are married and divorce and then saved, they have become new creations, the old has passed away. So I'm only talking about Chrsitians that get divorced here. EdB |
