Bible Question: Is it wrong to pose as a model for a nude art class? I have searched the bible for anything that talks about it being wrong to be naked and all I have found are verses talking about being ashamed of being naked and a few verses about women being seen in nakedness by their many lovers.

Bible Answer: 1 Tim. 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

modest - Greek 2887, Strong's kosmios, from Gk 2889 (kosmos) (in its primary sense); orderly, i.e. decorous :- of good behaviour, modest.

shamefacedness - aidos, ahee-doce'; perhaps from Greek 1 (a) (as a negative particle) and Greek 1492 (eido) (through the idea of downcast eyes); bashfulness, i.e. (towards men), modesty or (towards God) awe :- reverence, shamefacedness.
