Subject: The rapture, A comming event, Pg 3. |
Bible Note: The Rapture pg. 3. We see in looking back that the church could not have been raptured, because these few things required for the rapture have not taken place yet. We are thou, close, because the birth pains that jesus spoke of, have allready started. The pre trib view, 1st Thes,4:16,17., 1st Cor.,15:50-56, shows that Jesus will rapture the church before the Tribulation begins.thus fulfilling the scriptures of Rev.3:10, and others. remember we are not appointed to wrath.aka, the 7 years of the tribulation. Most Bible students make the mistake when they study prophecy, they try to use only 1 vers.to build a doctrine. Its good to keep in mind that sometimes a different opinion is determined whether you take the prophecys, litteraly or metaphorically. So for our perposes, we will take all literally. Jesus said in Rev 3:10, "sence you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the Hour of trial that is going to come wpon the whole world.... Since here, Jesus speeks to the entire church, and the church is still here, the rapture hasnt taken place, some try to use Mth. 24:34 and other singel passages to build a doctrine that the rapture has allready taken place, where they ere is that the prophecys, spoken of by Jesus has to be fulfilled first. The generation that sees these things come to pass, will be the generation that will see the rapture,. In Math 24:4 thru... Jesus speeks of many things that hafe to occure, 1. the Gospil must be preached unto all nations of the earth. 2. vers. 6-7, are two different references to things that must take place. 3. look at vers, 8. All these things are the begining of sorrows, so sence these are just the begining, all else has to take place. There are almost a complete list of things that must take place before the rapture here in Math. Lets go to Paul in 1Thes., Paul mentions the rapture in every chapter. Lets remember when Paul wrote these epistols, that there was a time laps between writeing, delievery and between the time the Bible was compiled as we know it today so that we could read and understand , which takes place far past 70 A.D. This time line here was not the rapture but the begining of sorrowes and the establishment of the church.Ask yourself this one question, why would Jesus send Paul out to establish the church and then rapture it before it was completed. this is pg 3.
