Bible Note: Advice of a book seller? An Author? I wonder if Paul or Jesus were given the choice between time spent in prayer a book, which would they chose. If I may be so bold to offer an opinion I would say they both would chose prayer. Especially knowing God would meet them there. I can understand why some would find a book an alternative to prayer if their prayer is only one eay because they deny the Holy Spirit still speaks to the heart of man. How sad! |
