Bible Question (short): Is Jesus was another of God's tests? |
Question (full): I have been trying to find a church home. The only church that I've ever known since childhood is part of the foursquare pentecostal religion. I don't feel comfortable there or anywhere lately because people are directly worshipping Jesus. I love to worship and praise God but I don't want to make the mistake of braking the 1st commandment. Jesus even instructed people to worship his father but Christians continue to worship him directly. I realize that Jesus was a good man and an awesome teacher but he even prayed to a higher power, God. Doesn't that mean that there was "someone" else? God created the commandments (specifically # 1) before Jesus even existed. Why would God have instructed Moses to create them if he wasn't talking about Jesus too? Please help me. |
