NASB | Philippians 1:30 experiencing the same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Philippians 1:30 [and so you are] experiencing the same [kind of] conflict which you saw me endure, and which you hear to be mine now. |
Bible Question: Could it be possible that the "conflict" that Paul is referring to is spiritual since he is sayin "in me" not "to me". Every commentary I've read mentions physical persecution. Why wouldn't Paul mention it was physical as he did in other scripture? Might he be referring to the daily battle we're constantly "in"? |
Bible Answer: carrob, If you read the context of this verse you will see that Paul is infact mentioning physical persecution. He has just discussed the fact that he is in prison for the gospel. And welcome to the forum, I hope you are blessed by it. In Christ, Beja |
