Bible Question:
God -by creating us...forced us into a contract. we can either accept christ and his free gift of salvation -- leading to the acceptance into the gate of heaven..or we by default burn in hell for eternity. i feel like when God created the angels ...and some turned on him..that the situation in heaven was Gods problem...i mean - we weren't even walking on earth yet. Satan is Gods enemy...i feel like (even though it is for the greater good) we are waging Gods war...and we were forced into this battle by birth...and if we lose then we have to suffer forever while God keeps all the happy winners in heaven as his blessed treasure. i'm sorry --i don't mean to sound so dramatic, but it hurts to see so many people die without christ (as i'm sure many of you know). how is this situation just? no one on earth knows with certainty what Gods definition of just is, its probably very different from ours.... yet i don't see how this can be "just." am i seeing it wrong? what do you guys think? |
Bible Answer: Is your question, "Is God just"? Is there some unresolved issue between you and God? You seem to be saying that Satan's fall was not justified because man had not yet been created. I think you have the contract idea wrong. When God created man, man was sinless. But man chose to sin. God is certainly capable of programming a robot, however, that wouldn't display His power. One of God's attributes is that He transcends creation, in other words, He is God and we're not. Perhaps you should allow God to be God. Is Jesus the Lord (sovereign one) of your heart? |
