Subject: God's intent for man |
Bible Note: "in order that you may live" God's intent is our good. Basic, stripped down to the bone truth is He desires for us the good life and the most blessed life. Multiple other scriptures bear this out. Peter says "He is not willing that any should perish, but that all ... live. Jesus said "I have come that they might have life," More abundant is even implied here in that the life continues to "your descendants". |
