Bible Note: Greetings Good Samaritan! I'm not trying to pick on you friend, but I keep finding statments in your posts that are very non-traditional. Allow me to ask the following questions. 1) If Jesus saw no guilt, how do you explain verses like John 3:18, "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." There is no doubt that Christ has extended His love to us at the cross. However, those who refuse that love stand both guilty and condemned. 2) How do you harmonize your statement, "Further the old Testament was filtered by men's yet not spiritually evolved minds. What they thought they heard was influenced by their old beliefs and passed on. So the truth was covered (but not obscured." with passages like 2 Pet. 1:20-21 - "Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit." and 2 Tim. 3:16 - "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness," Both the Old and New Testaments are the inspired and inerrant self-revelation of God.
