Subject: What if the man is already married? |
Bible Note: "If a man finds a girl who is a virgin, who is NOT engaged, and seizes her and lies with her and they are discovered" (Deu. 22:28) So she is not engaged...it just interested me that the Bible did not refer to the result if the man was married to another when he commits this violation on the virgin. I cannot believe that he would not be held accountable for the deed, but the assumption may have been that when your married you do not do this kind of thing??? I beleive we all know better than that, infidelity is rampant in our society. Thanks for all the help-- please chime in if anyone has any further scriptural referrences for this question. |
