Question (full): Searcher, If you are indeed a "searcher" understand that to read the Bible, it must be read with the mind of Christ through the Holy Spirit. Talk to your pastor about whether or not the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative written Word of God. It is written for all and all applies. One reference for that is Col. 1:16-17. Now with the mind of Christ, as you read this passage of scripture, does it offer YOU any hope? Does it speak to your heart that God will be with you through your trials and tribulations? That His presence is sufficient for YOUR peace (Ex. 33:14; Ps. 16:11b; Is. 43:3)? Counselor |
