Bible Question:
Question: Hi, Should borrowed money from e.g bank be tithed or part of it offered as a offering. I personally think it should because all things come from GOD and you can not outgive what you give to our LORD Jesus Christ. regards, gab |
Bible Answer: Tithe is a tenth of your increase. The Jews also brought corn and livestock a tenth of their increase. Your paycheck is an increase of what you had before you got it and God requires a tenth of it. With a loan you have to pay it back and with intrest so it is not an increase because you have to pay it back. If you want to give some of it as an offering I think that God would like that because remember, God loves a cheerful giver. |
