Subject: Can you please explain tithing? |
Bible Note: I dont know if I can calll you Brother or Sister. You are right I am a brother. Giving without no one required is not a tithe, its love offering, my arguement is that if someone required someone to give such as ten percent, it will go back to law. If someone willing to give half or whole of his earning, no problem with that it is acceptable to God. 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. The very example of love offering as we all know is the widow. Lu 21:2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. Lu 21:3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For a clarification, I am not against giving, just against the tithe as a requirements, because really it is part of the law, and apostle paul said, it will not justify us. Ac 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. By the way I am amazed of the way you give love offering. God bless, |
