Subject: How to determine demonic posession? |
Bible Note: Dear MWL (if you are still there), I truly hope that you understand what I intended to guide you. Sometimes, it is not about getting a direct/straight forward answer to your question or not, it is the question itself already problematic or it reveals the false concept behind the question such as this. Here is how I view your question: - it is not possible to truly know someone on the internet, needless to say determining if he/she is demon possessed. - what does the Bible teach about defending our faith? (read 1 Peter 3:15 and study the scripture in its context) - evangelism is to proclaim the Gospel, the Truth. We are only the sowers, but the Holy Spirit is the one who convicts and changes people's heart (read Jesus's parables of the sower). - when it comes to willful person rejects the truth, see what Jesus teaches in Mat 7:6. - does it matter in evangelizing that we should determine whether the person is demon possessed or not? (John 10:4, please read the whole chapter in its context) Let me ask you, while interacting with atheists on the internet, have you considered the above scriptures? OR, while you are quoting scriptures, have you studied them according to its context for proper understanding and application? How much or how well you have equiped yourself with the Word before engaging yourself in the debate? That is why I quote you Eph 6:11-17. May you be blessed with God's gracious Truth. Shalom Azure |
