Bible Question:
In this passage (Ephesians 6:10-20) it is interesting to note that we are told to STAND (v 11,13) Also, as I look at this in light of Paul's charge to Timothy in 2 Tim 1:14, "Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you." It appears again that our posture is one of DEFENSE. Are there any commands in Scripture where believers are instructed to GO and fight offensively? |
Bible Answer: Momma You will not find scripture that says we are to take the offensive. The VICTORY has been given us in Christ Jesus, all we have to do is stand and believe. To me this is a problem with spiritual warfare we forget the battle has been fought the victory decided. Faith secures it! EdB |
