Bible Question: Need scriptural understanding of how God's presence in us increases and decreases. |
Bible Answer: His presence neither increases, nor decreases, it is just that you become aware of His presence to a greater , or lesser extant, as you allow, or don't allow Him to have right of way in your life. Eph 5:18, above is written in the Greek presant continual tense, and would be better translated as "be being filled". Take a look at how Jesus did this by reading John 5:30, i.e. "not my will but thine be done". |
