Subject: Truth or Deception? |
Bible Note: In Ephesians 4:25, the beleiver is admonished, "Therefore, laying aside falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE of you WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members of one another." (NASB) The opposite of this is a Deception: 1. the act of deceiving; the state of being deceived. 2. something that deceives or is intended to deceive; fraud; artifice. (Dictionary.com) The true believer, one who has a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is to be truthful in his manner and conduct. Deception has no part for those who name the name of Jesus! It is dis-honoring to God to purposefully practice such behavior. BradK |
