AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace [God's remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; |
Bible Question:
Hi, In 2 Corinthians 12:9, God told Paul, His Grace is enough; In 1 Corinthians 6:19, Paul told us that the Holy Spirits is inside of us; In Ephesians 1:13, 4:30, Paul told us that were are sealed by the Holy Spirit; So, Is the grace the Holy Spirit? Is the Holy Spirit the light that Jesus told us to be in Matthew 5:14-16? Blessings, Lorenzo |
Bible Answer: Grace is undeserved divine favor, in other words, a gift from God. ie. For by grace you are saved through believing; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Once you are born again, you are sealed by God, who is spirit and is holy, the Holy Spirit. His gift to every born again believer is holy spirit with in. The light is God...This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5) Hope this helps. Agape, CiY |
