AMPLIFIED 2015 | Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, |
Subject: goodness and kindness? |
Bible Note: It does indeed help, thank you. I have found so far that the word 'goodness' always seems to refer to an attribute of God and 'kindness' seems to refer to an act performed. I think where I am getting confused is that we so easily interchange the two but in the Bible they seem to be very different. Does anyone know a verse that might void my theory? For example, a verse that might not use 'goodness' to refer to a characteristic of God? Thank you again |
