NASB | Galatians 4:1 Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything, |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Galatians 4:1 Now what I mean [when I talk about children and their guardians] is this: as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave even though he is the [future owner and] master of all [the estate]; |
Bible Question: Why is it acceptible to call ourselves children of the most high God but not little gods? |
Bible Answer: Those who are born of the Holy Spirit are indeed the children of God. However, just as one would never consider a 2 yr. old to be a fully-matured adult, we must never think of ourselves as having reached that state of perfection in Christ, which is reserved for the time of our glorification in Him. Gal 4:1 Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything, Gal 4:2 but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by the father. hope this helps, prazn |
