NASB | 2 Corinthians 12:9 And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 12:9 but He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough--always available--regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness." Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. |
Bible Question: how to i have more faith in god or grow with god from my illnesses |
Bible Answer: Not knowing what illness you have, I would still suggest getting yourself to a church when you hear of someone, like Benny Hinn, who has a serious healing ministry. You only find if you diligently seek. This last Sunday our church had a man Harrold Wallace come and facilitated God's healing to several people. He told of a neat story, Just several days before, he laid hands on a lady and God healed her. She'd been hit by a tractor trailer. Left with 1/2 a brain and living off machines. Called the next day to see about her. Told she's not in that room. Where is she? Walking around, want to speak to her? The rest is history. Totally healed. God can and it's his will to see healing manefested in peoples lives. But He's a jentleman won't come unless He's invited. |
